Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1911, the Oscar Balch House had been neglected by owners for a number of years. In 1998 the new owners began to restore the building by upgraded bathrooms and mechanical systems. E & A was retained to help the owners restore the exterior of the home, including the rebuilding of the front terrace, repairs and reciting of the failing exterior stucco and to reconfigure the back portion of the first floor to provide for a more spacious kitchen, informal eating area and family room.
